The rebels staged an ambush at roughly 0830 hrs. The deceased were identified as ASI Ramuram Nag, Constable Kunjam Joga and Assistant Const Vanjam Bheema. During a search, heavy patches of blood were observed and it is suspected that the Maoists carried away the bodies of their fallen comrades.
